Opportunities to Help

In the near future, it is expected that the Colonel Benjamin Stephenson House will be open to the public. We are certain that the programs presented will make this a great place to learn about life in Edwardsville in the early 1800's. It will also be a great place to make new and lasting friendships as you help as a volunteer. The satisfaction of knowing that you have contributed to the cultural life of our community will be a special reward for each volunteer.

Many varied volunteer opportunities exist year round, including our 50/50 auction, Burgoo Stew and "A Taste of Downtown Edwardsville." Your place as a volunteer depends on your interests, skills and availability. We need and welcome you. For more information, please contact us.

Donor Recognition Plan

It is our intention to identify and commemorate the generosity of all special gifts received by installing permanent plaques recognizing both donor and gift.  In addition, we plan to provide publicity through press release, future brochures and through docents trained to interpret the period.
